Jon Kandel was a graphic arts professional for over 40 years. In the late 1980s, he converted his traditional typesetting and layout company to digital and began using Photoshop when it was first released in 1990. A lifelong photographer, he was an early adopter of digital photography, and for the past twenty years photographed Broadway theatre, corporate events, and an occasional wedding. Kandel is also a moderator on Nikonians, one of the largest web-based communities of photographers. He moderates the Adobe Post-Processing Forum, the Photo Printing Forum, and the Mirrorless Camera and Lens forum.
