The Art League School in Old Town Alexandria, VA offers unique classes and workshops in bookbinding, calligraphy, papermaking, collage and mixed-media art, and other niche creative outlets. Classes are available for beginners as well as experienced artists! Courses are offered year-round during the day, in the evenings, and on the weekends to work with your schedule.

Shiho K. Rice demonstrates the art of kiri-é, or “cut picture”: an image cut from a single piece of paper using a craft knife and a steady hand.
