Christine Lashley received The Ruth Greges Award for My Onions. Juror Cynthia Connolly “gravitated toward this piece,” feeling that it “really exemplifies light”. She was impressed with the number of artists who were able to depict complex, difficult moments to capture.
Let There Be Light will be on view January 7 through February 2, 2009 at The Art League Gallery, along with Yoshimi Matsukata’s solo show, A Hosta Story.
