April 2010
Found objects in any form can become something entirely different. The San Francisco Dump has an Artist in Residence Program, which allows each artist to use materials from the dump as long as they produce a show. These artists have wonderful examples of incorporating found objects into art. They show us ways to transform the found object into more then just a highlighted figure. You can see examples at http://www.sunsetscavenger.com/AIR/index.php?t=d.
