Deadline: July 2, 12. In honor of the 2012 Summer Olympics, Center for the Arts Evergreen presents Going for the Gold: Honoring Sport, an exhibition featuring artwork inspired in some way by sports. From capturing the figure of an athlete to the equipment used in specific sporting events, we challenge you to get creative with the theme. We invited Scott Robson, Executive Director of Evergreen Parks and Recreation District, to join Becky Guy, Director of Exhibits at CAE, and Steve Sumner, Executive Director of CAE, to jury the exhibition. Artists are welcome to submit up to 3 images for jury, and we will accept artwork in all mediums.
