Ceramic Cup Show
Deadline: November 8, 2012. “Drink This! The Workhouse International Ceramic Cup Show” will showcase ceramic drinking vessels by contemporary artists around the globe. The focus of the exhibit is on the variety of ways artists explore the cup, in functional, sculptural, traditional and non-traditional forms. For more information, click here.
Fine Art Photography Exhibit
Deadline: November 14, 2012. The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites all artists in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico to enter its open-juried all photography competition, “Focal Point.” Any original work created in any form of photography, following exhibition guidelines, will be considered. Works selected will be on exhibit in the MFA’s Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle, Annapolis, MD from February 1 to February 24, 2013. For more information, click here.
BlackRock Center for the Arts
Deadline: December 21, 2012. BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD is accepting entries for exhibits in 2014. Entry is open to all artists 18 years and over residing in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. The entry fee is $35. For the entry form and more details, click here.
