VisArts Residency
Deadline: December 21, 2012. The Fleur and Charles Bresler Residency at VisArts invites applications and proposals from local, national and international artists for an 8 week residency at VisArts at Rockville. The Residency offers artists a dedicated studio, a supportive environment and the gift of time to plan, research, construct and present proposed projects. Perception & Ability
Deadline: December 30, 2012. Perception & Ability will be an exhibition at the Johns Hopkins University’s Evergreen Museum & Library in Baltimore that addresses the way imposed labels affect our perceptions of an individual’s abilities. For more information and to apply, click here.

Sugarloaf Craft Festivals
Deadline: Jurying starts January 11, 2013. Exhibition space at Sugarloaf Craft Festivals is available at every show in all categories, including fiber and fashion, photography, fine art, furniture, ceramics and pottery, blown and leaded glass, jewelry, metal, leather, and functional and decorative wood. The Spring 2013 season of festivals includes weekends in Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. All festivals are juried. For more information and to apply, click here.

Northern Virginia Art Center
Deadline: Ongoing. The Northern Virginia Art Center announces solo or group exhibition opportunities for artists from the Greater Washington, DC area. Our new gallery at the Shops at 2100 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA is a bright and open space in the heart of Crystal City’s thriving shopping and restaurant district. We are searching for talented professional artists with a cohesive body of work to exhibit in our new Special Exhibitions space. For more information and to apply, click here.
