A Thousand Artists

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Donations
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade brings in some of the largest crowds to our lovely waterfront town — in fact, more than any other event throughout the year. Their annual silent auction fundraiser, January 27 at 3 p.m., is seeking community-based donations to support the 2013 parade efforts. Photographers & Video Artists
Deadline: January 29, 2013. “Photo/Video 13” at Artisphere is open to all amateur and professional photographers/video artists (18 years and older) who live, work, study or have a studio in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Fotobama Contest

2013 Washington Craft Show
Early Deadline: April 1, 2013. The 26th annual Washington Craft Show, November 1, 2, & 3, 2013, sponsored by Crafts America, will be held at the Washington Convention Center in the heart of Washington, D.C.
