For photographers
Deadline: August 30, 2013. Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice, LLP is partnering with Honfleur Gallery to curate a unique art exhibition in their downtown DC office space. Photographers who currently live in DC, VA, MD are eligible to apply. Photographers who have limited exhibition experience are especially encouraged to apply. Artists will receive a 100 percent commission on any sales that take place during the duration of the exhibition. For full details, download the PDF prospectus here.

Request for proposals
Deadline: November 1, 2013. New for 2014, Capital Fringe is launching a Site-Specific category to our summer Festival. We will reserve 10 slots in the summer performance calendar for this type of work. We are accepting proposals until Friday, November 1, 2013 5pm EST. The summer Festival runs from July 10 to 27, 2014. For more information, click here.

Single-sheet books
Deadline: November 30, 2013. and the 110 Church Gallery in Philadelphia have issued an open call for books by visual artists and others for an exhibition to take place this winter. The “Ritual” single-sheet book show will feature books made from a single sheet of paper (directions are in the prospectus). For more information, click here.
