Wednesday, April 9 is Spring2ACTion – the 24-hour, online giving event throughout the city of Alexandria – and we’re raising much-needed funds for our IMPART outreach program, a program that provides the powerful and transformative outlet of the visual arts to recently Injured Military Personnel from Ft. Belvoir.
The exhibit is open through the closing reception — Sunday, January 5 at 2:00 pm.
If you missed the reception, we're pleased to announce you'll have another chance: there will be a closing reception for the IMPART exhibit on Sunday, January 5 at 2:00 pm.
The I.M.P. in IMPART stands for Injured Military Personnel and A.R.T. stands for, well, art.
This month's exhibits include a series addressing homelessness in our community, and an exhibit of ceramic artwork by injured military personnel.
