Cadmium Yellow Light

Cadmium Red Medium

Quinacridone Red

Quinacridone Magenta or another dark red or magenta

Cadmium Orange

Ultramarine Blue

Pick a green

(also Cobalt or Cerulean Blue)

Pthalo Blue

Burnt Umber

You can get more colors depending on your budget

For oil, you will need some oil medium.

Oil paints need a solvent to clean your brushes with. Gamsol is a good choice.

For oil paints you need to bring a jar to pour out your turpentine substitute in.

For acrylic, a painting medium is helpful (both gloss & matte) but not necessary.

An assortment of brushes, both round & flat

Canvas board or stretched canvas

Inexpensive paper that you can make painting sketches

Paper palette

A kit of supplies is available for purchase online through The Art League’s website,
and can be shipped for a fee, or picked up curbside.
The kit includes the underlined items.
