Funding for Visual Artists – The Pollack-Krasner Foundation

Applications from all media are welcome to apply for funding, with no deadlines. The Foundation encourages applications from artists who have genuine financial needs that are not necessarily catastrophic. Grants are intended for one year and range from $1,000 to $30,000. The National League of American Pen Women District of Columbia Branch will be hosting its Third Annual Art/Book/CD Sale at the Charles Sumner Museum on September 19, 2009. Admission is free. Past participants have ranged from authors to musicians to painters, sculptors, quilters, photographers, jewelers and more. Participating vendors are requested to donate 20% of their proceeds to the DC Branch. These monies will go towards the restoration of the historic Pen Arts Building as well as recognize the Charles Sumner Museum for use of its space.
