Next Week at The Art League: August 10–16
What’s happening next week at The Art League? A lot!
Starting Monday, you can finally register for those Fall Term classes you’ve been picking out of the new catalog. The School Office (room 217 in the Torpedo Factory) opens its doors at 9:30 am, and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority goes to in-person registrations, followed by online, faxed, and mailed registrations.

This Thursday is Second Thursday, which means it’s your chance to see the August exhibits and meet the artists represented in them. There will be snacks, drinks, and awards at the opening reception, starting at 6:30 pm in the Gallery. (Presentation of awards is typically at 7:30.) Receptions are always free and open to the public.
Interested in having a solo artist exhibit in the Gallery? The process starts with attending an informational meeting, and one will be held Friday afternoon. (Register for any of them here.) After attending the info session, artists submit their materials by September 26.
