Drawing and Painting for Teens

*This class began on April 19th. Late sign ups are welcome! The price reflected is for 6 sessions starting May 3.

Students explore a variety of media and mark-making techniques as they broaden their artistic skills and personal expression. The use of line, value, and composition are emphasized as the students develop their understanding between the relationships of form, texture, and color. Participants use both traditional as well as abstract methods of drawing and painting. Students need to acquire supplies for this class.

Supplies are required for this course. As a service to our students, most supply lists are kept on hand in the Art League Supply Store. Call in advance to confirm that your class has a supply list: (703)548-8127. The existence of this store gives students the opportunity to obtain supplies in advance and come to class prepared to work. The Art League Supply Store is in studio 217 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, just around the corner from the Art League School Registration Office.

They are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Due to our large enrollment, we are unable to mail or read supply lists over the phone.
