Indigo: Beyond the Vat

Japanese indigo (Persicaria tinctoris)

In this workshop, participants will explore techniques for using indigo that do not require creating a traditional vat. Making and using pigment, ways to use fresh/dried leaves, and using thickeners for stamping are among the techniques introduced.

A $10.00 materials fee is payable to the instructor by cash or check.
