Jumpstart in Nuno Felting

Nuno felting permanently combines silk or cotton fabric with wool through a felting process without any sewing or hemming. The resulting felt is lightweight with excellent drape. In this workshop students make a scarf using the nuno felting technique. Basic wet felting using wool fiber, is combined with silk fabric to add strength and versatility. The instructor gives step-by-step instructions and demonstrations. Materials are included.
