Beginning in Watercolor

In this class, students focus on introductory watercolor techniques as they build skills and understanding of the media and what it can do. Classes includes a combination of demonstrations, projects, and individual attention to allow students to practice, gain experience, and receive personalized feedback and suggestions. Students with previous watercolor experience are welcome.

Supplies are required for this course. As a service to our students, most supply lists are kept on hand in the Art League Supply Store. The existence of this store gives students the opportunity to obtain supplies in advance and come to class prepared to work. The Art League Supply Store is in studio 217 at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, just around the corner from the Art League School Registration Office.

They are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Due to our large enrollment, we are unable to mail, fax, or read supply lists over the phone. It is the responsibility of the student to acquire their own materials.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 11:00am to 5:00pm

Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm
