Evolution of the Cell by Joan Slottow

The prokaryotic Pac-Man cell enters the board on the upper left and gobbles down a smaller cell which, instead of being digested, turns into the cell nucleus.  The now-eukaryotic Pac-Man gobbles some energy-processing cells which enter the protoplasm as mitochondria.  If the energized Pac-Man encounters and eats cyanobacteria, they turn into chloroplasts inside.  The now-plant-cell divides to form plants.  Otherwise, the Pac-Man cell can either turn itself into an amoeba or undergo cell division so that multi-headed hydra emerge.
